Happy January, Academy Families!
We are so proud of all of our incredibly talented students who performed in our Winter Recitals. You all rocked! A huge thank you to everyone who came out to support our performers. Be sure to check out some of the photos below.
Summer Recital dates are officially set for Friday, June 12th through Sunday, June 14th, and Friday, June 26th through Sunday, June 28th, with sign-ups opening March 1st.

Hey Students! Join us in the Columbia Mardi Gras Parade on Saturday, February 14th. The parade kicks off at 11:00 AM, and we will need everyone in place by 10:30 AM. Students are asked to wear green, purple, and yellow.
The parade follows a 2 to 3 mile loop starting and ending at City Roots and traveling through the Rosewood and Shandon area. Bicycles and wagons are welcome! To sign up, visit www.columbiaartsacademy.com/mardigras.
Mark your calendars! The Columbia Arts Academy Irish Choir will return to St. Pat’s in Five Points on Saturday, March 14th. We had an amazing time last year and are excited to see our students take the stage again. More details coming soon.
Academy Picture Days are back! Picture Day is a free event for all current academy students. Families only pay for prints or the digital release. Students are welcome to bring their instruments and dress however they would like for their photos. Picture Day is open to students from Columbia Arts Academy, Lexington School of Music, and Irmo Music Academy.
Dates and locations will be announced soon, so stay tuned for more details. Photos will be taken by Jerry Stamps of PixelFusion, and reservations will be required once dates are announced. Session times will be available on a first come, first served basis.
We hope everyone has had a wonderful start to the new year, and we are excited to continue making music with our incredible students and families at Columbia Arts Academy, Lexington School of Music, and Irmo Music Academy!
